SOSHANGUVE BLOCK F COMMUNITY MEMBERS USED 67 MINUTES MANDELA DAY TO RE-PAINT THE SCHOOL

The community members of Block F decided to use their 67 minutes in re-painting Ntsha-Peu primary school as they have seen that their school community needs a new paint and they said that putting a new paint shows that there is a freedom in their lives. The old paint had to be removed because it opens their old wound.

The community members said that Mandela day means a lot to them because Nelson Mandela has brought freedom and life to them , so the new colour of their school means freedom and peace to them and their children. They also said that Mandela day empower them to work together as a community . The teacher of Ntsha-Peu Mr Aubrey Shivambu said that their reason for painting school in this day it is that they want to forget about the apartheid that was happening long time ago , so they decided to put a peaceful colour to their school. The community and the school management are doing a great job for the next generation .

The community members and the school members said that they are honoring our hero because he had take responsibility of the struggle during the apartheid time and he is a peaceful maker. They also said that they are proud about Nelson Mandela because of spending 27 years in the jail and then when he got released he didn't gave back the revenge to the white people . This is what encourage them to make peace with their school community.
