Community members of Soshanguve block F

The community members of Soshanguve block F decided to volunteer to their community since 2008. They had dedicated themselves in two schools around Block F. They are cleaning Ntsha-Peu primary school and Letabong Secondary school , so  every Wednesday at 17:00 they gather in their spot where they are planning about what is going to happen next because thay are not only cleaning the schools but they are also going around the community and volunteer .They also  discussing about the issue of illegal dumping and the crimes that are happening around the community. They said by doing that they are not taking the law in their hands but they are trying to fix their community and the youth that are addicted in the substance abuse , one of the community member said that if they take the law into their hands they will kill their young brothers as they are the ones addicted , so it is better to allow the police officer to do their job . This people aren't working so they decided to do something good for their community.

They said they are doing that in order to get closer to their Mayor  . They also said that they are suffering because the water and rent are expensive. Sometimes their electricity is switched off because they are failing to pay their bills , so by doing the volunteering work they are trying to provide for themselves so that they be able to pay their rent, water and electricity because sometimes they get paid in the school.
During the discussion about the community issues
  • They said they engage with the  people , police officer and the municipality in order to work together when it comes to their community. They also said that crime is a big issue in their community and they do not want to violent the court of law . The community members have a good connection with the police officer of Soshanguve because if the crime occurs they communicate with them. They also said that  they have the ways of dealing with crimes in their community
